1. Exfoliate regularly:
There’s a lot of buzz in the skin care industry about exfoliation: from what to use, to how it’s done properly. The one thing everyone agrees on is that exfoliating at least twice a week should be part of every woman’s beauty routine.
Exfoliation removes dead skin cells, draws out clogged pores, and increases blood circulation for new skin cells to generate. Not only will your skin look smoother and healthier, but you’ll also have a crisp, new surface for the fresh skin to grow.
2. Use a good facial moisturizer:
Let’s go back to the basics: always, always, always moisturize after exfoliating to lock moisture back into your skin. As we age, our skin becomes drier. And there isn’t a better way to keep your skin looking healthy and well-hydratedd.
Moisturizer traps water in our skin and provides important nutrients and vitamins our skin needs to stay tight and firm. Here’s an additional tip: apply moisturizer immediately after washing your face, while your skin is still damp, to maximize absorption.
3. Maintain a healthy and balanced diet:
Our skin is our body’s largest organ. And just like it’s important to take care of our body, it’s equally important to take care of our skin. You can do that by maintaining a healthy diet, just like what our moms tells us.
Add more antioxidants to your diet through foods high in zinc— such as beans, chickpeas, and cashews— and beta-carotene-rich in foods such as papaya, carrots, and spinach. And of course, don’t neglect the essential vitamins! Vitamins C, D, and E, found in foods such as citrus fruits and broccoli will help your body maintain youthful and firm skin.
4. Always use sunblock:
The sun’s harsh UV rays ages skin quickly and oftentimes, early, in an effect called “photoaging”. Apply sunscreen to all skin not covered by clothing. Choose a sunscreen that offers broad-spectrum protection (this will protect from both UVA and UVB rays), with at least SPF 30 or higher.
Try to seek shade between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., when the sun is at its strongest. Whenever possible, wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses to help reduce exposure, as well as fine lines around your eyes.
5. Invest in quality products with PROVEN results:
Anti-aging skincare is a whopping $200 billion dollar industry. But the problem is, most of that money comes from so-called “anti-aging” products that simply don’t work.
You need to really understand the aging process before you can create a truly potent anti-aging product.
You can’t just throw random chemicals together and call it an anti-aging product. Chemicals like parabens, mercury, siloxanes, hydroquinone are all linked to skin diseases or increased risk of cancer. But sadly, these are all common ingredients in skin care products. In fact, 90% of skincare products on the market are actually made of dangerous chemicals that hurt your skin.
That’s where we come in: we understand that skincare is a science. Our professionals have spent countless hours in the lab studying and testing ingredients, just like grade school chemistry class. We never put cheap, harsh additives in our products. That’s why we’re proud to call ourselves “WOW Skin Science.”
These hours and hours have led us to our prized product: our powerful
Anti Aging Daily Night Cream, unlike anything on the market. And you might ask yourself… just what exactly makes our product so special?
